The subject of most importance to me is Pension Fund investment in Real Estate and Infrastructure. Privately Managed Pension assets are building up rapidly. Our Investment options are however limited due to the restrictive investment policy imposed by the NPRA which excludes Real Estate and Infrastructure.
There is massive foreign participation in Ghana’s retail and commercial property developments (The Malls, Offices, Hotels). It will be great for us to have a speaker to share experiences on how pension funds have approached investment in property elsewhere and lessons Ghana should draw.
