The African Alternative Investment Intensive is an open exchange of ideas, investment best practices and perspectives on future opportunities for limited partners in Africa and the United States and fund managers active in Sub‐Sahara Africa. The intimate event format—including one–on–one facilitated meetings, roundtable discussions and LP/GP panels—is designed to foster dialogue, interaction and introductions among all participants. As a forum where investors, either active or interested in African‐focused investments, can gather knowledge and build relationships, the Intensive will serve as a springboard for future trade missions for investors from both regions.
At the Intensive, managers with expertise in alternative assets – private equity, private debt, agribusiness, infrastructure, hedge and real estate investing in Africa will share their insights and investment strategies including a spotlight on recent investments. Institutional investors with active investments in the region, including Africa based investors, global pension plans, endowments, foundations and regional family offices will provide first‐hand perspectives on investing in Africa.
The forum is a “talk-show free” open forum driven by knowledge sharing on alternative investing in Africa, with emphasis on showcasing product innovations, structures and pooled investment vehicles for portfolio diversification and risk-adjusted returns.
